Bir Radha Sherpa has proven his calibre on the dancing field and won the trophy in the Star Plus dance reality show Dance Plus 3. Bir was super elated with the win and was bursting out with excitement and happiness. In the interview post the win, Bir said, “The journey has been a really special one. More than for me, I wanted to win the show for Punit Sir.” Bir won the dance reality show and tool home INR 25 lakhs cash price Alon along with a brand new Hyundai I Elite i20, an Oppo phone, Amazon voucher worth 1-lakh rupees and a Suzuki Gixer SFFi bike.

Bir Radha Sherpa was a message of Punit Pathak’s Group and won accolades for his amazing dance performance and unique style of b-boying mixed with contemporary. The break dancing champion Pradhudeva crowned Bir with the winner title.

In an exclusive interview, Bir said,  “The journey has been a really special one. All through the show I wanted to be in the finale and here I was declared as the winner. More than for me, I wanted to win the show for Punit Sir. He worked so much on me and this title is my dedication to him. Mujhse zyada unhone mehnat ki thi (he worked harder than me). I feel blessed to have won the show among so many talented contestants. I am so thankful to all the people who showered me with love and votes.”

Bir belongs to a small district called Silchar in Assam and was very excited to have been given this prestigious platform for showing off dancing skills. He said, “Coming from a small town where dance as a career is not heard of, I feel fortunate to have been part of such a grand show.” Rather than moving ahead and turning into a choreographer, the 18-year-old has his plans set. “I want to learn as much as I can. There is a long way to go. I want to train myself hard and represent India on international platforms. I want to show the world that it doesn’t matter where you come from, talent and hard work will always show you the way.”

Bir, who is just 18 years old also participated in the DID Li’l Masters but could not take his journey forward due to some medical emergency. “That was a completely different experience. Unfortunately, I hadn’t been able to go ahead in the show as I fractured my hand. Guess God had a different plan for me. He wanted me to win Dance Plus 3 and become the Dance Icon,” he shared with a broad smile.

Bir was asked about his dream dancing partner and here came a shy smile on Bir’s face. “I haven’t thought about it yet but I would love to perform on stage with Dytto,” said a shy Bir.
